Smoke on the Water

This renovation in Holland, Michigan is right near the lakeshore so we were after a beach house feel. The use of a beautiful door style by Homecrest Cabinetry really emphasized the smoke glaze on the French Vanilla paint on Maple. By using taller wall cabinets & finishing with crown at the ceiling we provided extra storage. This kitchen is packed with extra goodies like the super susan used in the corner for pot & pan storage. Slate appliances, metal bar stools and an undermount sink in the same color also complemented the smokey glaze on the cabinets. A unique shape on the peninsula gave interest to the overall design. Alaskan white granite topped off the look. Sunshine yellow on the walls & light weight sheers with grommets gave a nautical feel & back door for the residents coming in from the beach!
