The challenge of taking something outdated and transforming it into something clients can be excited and proud of, is always rewarding.
Design has always been in my blood. From a young age, I was creating and redesigning house plans, always changing up the design of my own bedroom. I see the same creativity in my 9-year-old daughter, which continually reminds me where I started, and it makes me proud to see her follow in my footsteps. While working towards a degree in residential architecture, I just happened to start my career in kitchen design and have enjoyed it for the last ten years.
I love being able to take clients outside of their own ideas and present a design that they hadn’t imagined, yet still embodies their needs and wants. I enjoy increasing functionality and making an impact on my client’s everyday life, all while staying in budget. The challenge of taking something outdated and transforming it into something clients can be excited and proud of, is always rewarding. I, myself, take pride knowing that the way they entertain or cook together in the future will be forever changed based on my design. The whole process from design to construction to completion makes a lasting relationship. And the little things, like being approached by a happy client down the road, is just icing on the cake!
