I have always loved designing houses. Even as a child I would make the best Polly Pocket house! Growing up, I was constantly designing and changing my room, always wanting to create and design something new. When I started college, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in design, but wasn’t sure what type of design to focus on. I graduated in 2017 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, and started working in the design industry shortly after graduation.

Over the years, I started taking an interest in kitchen design, and soon realized that this was exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to be able to take a customer’s idea and make it come to life. I enjoy getting to know customers and designing with their style. I love the moment when they see their thoughts come to life. Their faces light up and it puts them in a great mood! It’s awesome! And not just the kitchen design, but bringing the whole project together from studs to glory. The process starts with learning what the customer wants and needs. Then we see what is practical and what isn’t. I find some of my inspiration from Houzz or other sources, and of course from the customer themselves. I like to start with the customer because after all, it is their kitchen! Often they have great ideas that I never would have thought of. I strive to be as relatable as I can be with my customers. I always try to share real-life examples and/or experiences as we work through their project. I am prompt with my responses and am always friendly and professional.

As someone a little newer to the kitchen and bath industry, Williams has been a great place to work and learn more about the industry. One of my favorite things about working at Williams is the family aspect the company has. I had worked for a corporate company in the past where you just didn’t get the same “family” feel as you do with Williams! It makes it a very fun and welcoming environment, not just for employees, but for customers as well.
